Ashley Hayes
Hello, I am Ashley Hayes, the Founder of Swine Design. I initially created Swine Design in 2019 to fill a void in the building interiors process. With over 15 years of experience in providing residential and commercial interior finishes, I have noticed that, all too often, renovation projects become painful experiences that leave clients emotionally scarred. I have a passion for using my expertise to develop and execute a vision with my clients. My hope is that at the end of the process my clients and I will leave, not just as professionals, but as friends.
My husband and I have been married for ten years. During this time we have taken on several renovation projects for our own farm property, all while adding three wonderful kids into the mix. Swine Design is named after one of the buildings located on our property, otherwise known as The Pig Barn.
I started my career in Interiors while attending Muhlenberg College. I worked my way through school, and continued to work with clients in northern New Jersey ever since. Swine Design provides me with an opportunity to do what I love, all while working closer to my home and family in the Lehigh Valley.

I also happen to be Ashley's mom! In my spare time, I love to hang out with my 5 grandchildren, and I enjoy a good true crime documentary every now and then.
Shannon Malkovsky

I have always had a passion for design and believe that your home should be a reflection of your family's personality. I enjoy getting to know each client and understanding your style and functionality goals. I strive to design a space that brings you and your family joy each day. I find my style to be timeless, functional and welcoming with a touch of edge.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, exploring local restaurants, traveling and renovating my own home. I have been married to my husband, Marc for 9 years and have an 8 year old daughter, Amelia and 5 year old son, Dominic.
Maggie Avolio
Technical Designer
I help visualize our ideas using digital modeling and rendering to enable you to see our vision throughout the process. I love putting all of the design pieces together like a puzzle and presenting the whole picture before you commit to anything. With a background in visual art, I am endlessly fascinated with turning ideas into reality.
When I'm not creating digital interiors, I'm usually in my art studio making sculptures or trying out new recipes at home.
